Time for another "inspired by B3ta" ten minute website!
  * IS IT GOING TO RAIN TODAY . COM - Probably a
bit more complex, but with some reverse IP
lookup for location and parsing the BBC weather
site, a fair stab is possible.
So here it is: Is It Going To Rain Today?

Problem is, here in Canada (and I suspect in other locations around the world) it's much more likely to snow than rain. So maybe double-parse it with the temperature, and if it's below freezing, have it say, "No, but it'll snow."

This is my browser start page now!
I like to know about weather but I DONT FUGGIN CARE about percentage of air humidity and probability of rainbows and radar pictures I ONLY WANT TO KNOW IF IT WILL RAIN TOMORROW and your page delivers the goods.

BRILLIANT!

It's a top hit in our house. The kids click to see what they should wear to school. Bypasses the fights over "please wear your coat it's going to rain today". Please make it an iPhone/iPod app?

best thing ever

This is fantastic, but I have a wee problem with the reverse IP lookup. I live in Portland, ME, USA but get foisted on Portland, OR, USA. (I know I can manually change the location, but that's not nearly as cool.)

i absolutely love this website, it just rocks so much. it really is the only thing i care about weather wise, is it going to rain where i am today? brilliant. it also seems to be scarily accurate.
